A fabulous Regency-era chain, its decorative watch hook makes it a rare and collectible piece. The extra-long chain is composed of tightly woven 18k yellow gold links. A small sculpted hand pendant holds a locking watch hook; this element is amazing. The 14k to 16k gold hand wears a fancy cuff, and the hook it holds is wonderfully made. This a very versatile necklace; hang a pendant, locket, fob, or any lightweight ornament from the secure locking hook. Jane Austen would have worn this with an Empire-waisted, white muslin dress. So would we. Circa 1820.

Details.....The chain measures 60" long and 1.8mm wide. The hook measures .47" by 1.45". In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
